Description: Senior Network Engineer-Architect
Northern California (Silicon Valley)
Company is looking for a Sr. Network Engineer-Architect. We are designing
the architecture for a large space (SATCOM) start-up program, and you will
resolve problems associated with , Network Management, Mobile Routing SLAs,
etc etc.Must be able to evaluate system requirements and propose solutions
. You will work with protocols and framing structures, COTS hardware and
software products, and develop recommendations for enterprise
growth to increase capability of the network.
Qualifications: Required Experience,Education & Skills:
U.S. Citizenship, First Tier ISP Routing, Network Design &Architecture
experience on a large scale is necessary, Network instrumentation such as
Juniper, Extreme,
or IXIA-traffic generator. Understand packet communication, QOS (Quality of
Service), SLA, COTS Software, a strongbackground in Project Leadership
Skills.
BS or MS in related field, Must have ability to obtain a Security Clearance,
Written White papers. Have a clear understanding of military secured
netwrok/systems.
Very Little travel is required, the project is expected to last 14 months or
slightly less.
