Sr Electrical Project Engineer
Perkasie, PA
Basic Responsibilities:
Position is responsible to provide technical support/leadership to a team of
professional engineers in the development of power distribution products
Analyzes customer requirements.
Researches, recommends, and develops technologies, processes, and methods to
meet both customer and company goals.
Prepares technical proposals and cost estimates for new power distribution
products.
Helps to define new products and assists in the investigation and solution
of customer problems and issues.
Makes contact with clients/customers to make technical presentations
/participate in design
reviews.
Determines system architectures.
Performs detailed electronic design of power and analog circuits.
Performs detailed microprocessor and EPLD based systems design.
May be required to write and document software for embedded processors in
high-level
languages.
Evaluates and approves design documents.
Coaches others in effective use of engineering practices to analyze,
specify, design, document and test products.
Evaluates and recommends tools, training programs, and suppliers to advance
engineering capability.
Qualifications: Basic Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
--12 years experience in aircraft power system design. Must have knowledge
of
aircraft power generation, distribution, and uses.
--B.S., E.E., M.S., E.E. desired
--Knowledge of and experience with DO-254 and DO-160 preferred.
--Detailed component level analog/digital circuit design
--Some knowledge of C programming
--Travel 25%
