The company is a leader in providing technology solutions and engineering services to the aerospace industry. The company's projects offer some of the
most difficult and exciting challenges in aerospace. The successful candidate will be an experienced/seasoned manager/director in technology sales and business development.
Accountabilities:
-Strategic sales of engineering services, specifically to the aerospace industry
-Sales of Engineering Services; specifically in the areas of mechanical design, electrical design and engineering software services
-Coordinate and lead all aspects of the sales cycle including: prospecting, cold calling, following up on leads, setting appointments, creating needs
assessments, providing customers with proposals and contracts, reading buying signals and handling objections, and closing technical sales
-Build strong business relationships based upon trust and providing value to the customer Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal staff
Qualifications: Minimum Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience :
· Bachelor's Science Degree is required in the field of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
· 7 or more years of proven successful experience in technical sales and technology solutions services sales.
· Must have a strong sales mentality and proven experience driving new business development that consistantly meets and exceeds company objectives
· Strong ability to effective manage project teams in service delivery is essential
. Superior project management skills are essential
· The ideal candidate needs to have the ability to work very autonomous
. Must be a strong "self-starter" that thrives working in an entrepreneurial environment
