Sr Boeing Structural Project Manager
Houston, TX
Responsibilities
Utilize analytical/technical skills to initiate plans and develop
specifications involving basic design data, technical test equipment
modifications, and equipment installation.
Write engineering documents for product modifications, airworthiness
compliance, repairs and program management on area of expertise.
Responsible for all aspects of engineering within specified ATA.
Interface with maintenance on troubleshooting procedures and support of
light and heavy maintenance operations.
Prepare technical drawings as required.
Project management and special assignments as required.
Structures engineers work in the following areas: Airframe structure, doors,
fuselage, windows
Qualifications: Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering required (Mechanical or Aerospace
preferred).
Strong background in Structural engineering.
7 or more years aviation engineering experience.
Experience working with Boeing Aircraft Company (BAC) aircraft is preferred.
Thorough knowledge of FAR's (especially Part 25 and 121) is preferred.
