Description: Sr Chemical Scientist /Special Materials Group:
Sr Chemical Scientist is part of the Specialty Materials Group and responsible for conducting research related to the production and use of elemental fluorine.
Sr Chemical Scientist will develop new technologies/products and improve existing technologies. The candidate will work in the laboratory and be involved with scale-up and of support manufacturing plants.
Qualifications: Qualifications: Minimum Requiremnets
A PhD in chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science; or an M.S.
Experience of 12 or more years includes:
Experience in the electrochemical production of elemental fluorine
Fundamental knowledge of inorganic fluorine chemistry and electrochemistry
Support transfer of newly developed products/manufacturing processes into commercial production
Ability to plan and execute experimentation independently
Export control regulations will apply
Travel to various company sites
