Sr. Production Manager -Hazardous Chemicals Unit
Paducah, KY
Basic Responsibilities
Enable daily production support through statistical analyses of process
performance, process improvement idea generation & testing and procedure
review Provide assistance to the site production operations team managers
in training and coaching operators Participation in Process Safety
Management
including Process Hazards Analyses Participation on both Major & Minor
Capital
project teams.
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors or higher degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
12 years experience in chemical plant operations (high hazards
experience desired)
-Strong problem solving skills including leadership experience with root
cause analysis and FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis)
-Strict adherence to sound engineering standards
-Ability to identify and resolve process attainment issues
-Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office software
-Six Sigma / Green Belt or higher certification or the ability
to attain this certification
-15% travel
