Description: Sr. Cryo-Piping-Project Engineer
Houston TX
Optimize the design of liquid nitrogen and helium distribution systems, be
responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance. Responsible to
direct pipe routing and fabrication,calculating thermal expansion of piping
sys, meet ASME standards. Our team is using solid modeling, PTC Pro-Engineer
products, Wildfire 3.0, and Pro-Piping. Write statements of work and
specifications, select vendors, and work with contractors above the million
dollar level in procurement of goods and services as well. In additiona to
Performance of all otherduties, as required.
Qualifications: Experience/Skills/Education
This is an ESCG team position and Requires a BS degree in Engineering - ABET
accredited college/university , a minimum of 8 years experience in piping
design;BS degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. Experience in
cryogenics, liquid nitrogen, and pressure system design is a plus. Must be
familiar with consensus standards used in cryogenic, heat transfer, and
pressure systems for ISO, NASA, NFPA,OSHA, CGA, ASME, AVS, and ASHRAE.
Microsoft Office products (or equivalent) required. Must meet eligibility
requirements to receive and maintain a DoD security clearance.
