Description: Lead Project Mechanical Engineer Florida, Pensacola The Lead Project Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for developing and leading the mechanical design for new capital and large expense projects. Give Mechanical design basics to the Engineering Contractor, approves the Engineering Contractor Design & Field Construction, and assists with project start-up. This position will need to direct and consult on numerous ongoing projects.
Qualifications: BS in mechanical engineering. Must have experience in Chemical / Petrochemical Plant design and/or operations. Should also have experience as the Lead Mechanical or Project Engineer for Capital Projects up to M. Must have working knowledge in specification, design and application of Rotating and Fixed Equipment including pumps, blowers, compressors, heat exchangers, vessels, tanks, piping, and Safety /Relief Devices. Must have working knowledge of ASME & API Codes and Standards pertaining to these equipment groups.
