Description: HSE Manager Richmond, VA .Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state and federal safety, environmental and regulatory requirements including corporate EH&S policies & procedures. Develop, manage & implement the Environmental, Health & Safety Program along with the ISO RS 14001, loss prevention & Responsible Care programs ensuring compliance with regulatory & corporate requirements. .Manage & facilitate EH&S functions to provide required support to production, Business Line, R&D and customers .Implement policies and programs that protect employees and the community from chemical exposure and lead to continuous improvements in waste minimization. Ensure that all internal and external EH&S reporting requirements are met. .Assume a lead role over the site Process Safety Management program in the definition of procedures and the audit of performance against those procedures.
Qualifications: Degree, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science and/or Environmental Engineering. 7+ years experience managing Environmental, Health and Safety regulatory compliance in chemical/petrochemical manufacturing environment. Experience conducting training and leading teams strongly preferred. Ergonomics, behavioral safety, machine guarding, electrical safety, hazardous energy control, confined space, fall protection, pathogens, personal protective equipment, respiratory protection, incident investigation, and industrial hygiene experience strongly preferred. Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills.
