Description: Lead Electrical Instrumentation Engineer, E/I Florida Develop and lead electrical and instrumentation engineering for new capital and large expense projects. Provides E/I design basics to the Engineering Contractor, approves the Engineering Contractor Design & Field Construction, and assists with project start-up. Direct and consult on numerous ongoing projects. Degree in Electrical Engineering. Heavy industrial chemical plant or equivalent experience. Experience as being the Lead E/I engineer for major Electrical, Instruments and Controls Projects. Requires industrial electrical knowledge in PLCs, motor drives (both AC & DC), motor controls, conventional relay logic control, Devicenet, Modbus and 460V up to 13.2 KV electrical systems. Requires experience in the selection, application & troubleshooting of various instrumentation system. Requires knowledge of system automation and distributed process control installation. ISA 84 Instrumented Safety and NFPA 70
Qualifications: Ability to troubleshoot and provide failure analysis. Broad experience with equipment and chemical processes; Experience coordinating or directing other electrical engineers and designers; Experience with large controls upgrade projects involving ProVOX and Delta V; Working knowledge of engineering financial/economic analysis calculations; Experience in chemical plant maintenance and reliability. Knowledge of SAP and WCPM Process.Experience with following Electrical Contractor during construction.
