Description: Plant Engineer, Reliability / Maintenance Louisiana Reliability and or Maintenance Track record and experience in mechanical integrity and reliability programs in a chemical manufacturing environment. Prepare, manage and implement capital projects. Establish and sustain the site mechanical integrity and reliability program Develop & Manage improvement projects for plant infrastructure Implement Capital Deployment best practices Provide engineering calculations and equipment designs Provide engineering guidance and support to maintenance and production. Identify and solve repetitive problems through RCA methodology to stop failures. Report reliability key performance indicators (KPIs) Assure that all designs and equipment meet applicable engineering codes and standards and follow good engineering practice. Maintain and update engineering drawings and documents for plant use and regulatory requirements. Coordinate project implementation with other departments & other engineers onduct training in engineering topics where needed. Supervise when appropriate.
Qualifications: . B.S. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering . Knowledge of advanced engineering calculations . Design experience to include vessels, piping, pumps and heat exchangers. . Experience in creating technical drawings . Experience with process safety management particularly mechanical integrity . Decision making skills and leadership qualities, including team building . Basic Project Management skills . Written and oral communication skills . Expertise in reliability technology . Knowledge of the requirements of mechanical integrity . Experience in environmental or safety technology . Experience in plant maintenance.
