Description: Manager, Technical Services Alabama, Mobile Lead and directing the Technical Services department in the implementation of strategic projects focusing on the improved performance of the Plant. The position functions as a key member of the Plant Leadership team and is responsible for the utilization of technical resources in support of the overall plant goals for safety, environmental performance, quality, productivity and cost through data driven applications of innovative technical solutions. Responsible for managing the efforts of technical resources between projects R&D and Capital Projects and assisting with daily troubleshooting, for improving the Plant competitive advantage through the identification of new processes, equipment and use of new and validated means to optimize processes and equipment.
Qualifications: Degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant industrial degree, and 10+ years experience in a chemical manufacturing process or technology development environment. Experience in capital projects management and process engineering is highly desirable, as well as proven ability to innovate and improve upon existing practices and technologies.
