Description: Commissioning Manager Texas, Houston Capable of managing large, complex commissioning projects and multiple small complex projects. Participates in providing a planned, documented, and managed engineering approach to the start-up and turnover of facilities, systems, and equipment to the client. Responsible for developing and maintaining the startup schedule, controlling all costs associated with commissioning labor and equipment, developing a Commissioning Plan, managing commissioning engineers, and integrating activities with Engineering, Construction Management, and Commissioning activities and deliverables. Establishes system boundaries, scopes of work, and commissioning execution plans. Communicates commissioning roles and scope for members of design and construction teams; understands the commissioning test plans/protocols, and coordinates and/or attends design, construction and operability reviews. Prepares commissioning progress reports for management, clients, or others and develop written test procedures as well as coordinate, witness, and document startup and functional tests. Supports development and training for Commissioning department and Operations. Functional knowledge of all areas of plant commissioning, operations and/or maintenance technology. Ability to communicates and interact with management and employees at all levels. Ability to build effective working relationships with Engineering, Construction, Client, and Vendor personnel.
Qualifications: 25 years of petrochemical facilities construction, operation, pre-commissioning or commissioning experience. Willing to take international field assignment anywhere in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar. Demonstrated knowledge of plant process, Distributed Control and PLC Control Systems. Must be able to develop / prepare Commissioning guidelines and procedures.
