Description: Senior Construction Manager Houston, Texas, USA Oversee and monitor all construction activities performed by all subcontractors for project to which assigned. Coordinate work of different subcontractor trades so that there are no stoppages or delays in performance of work. Assist subcontractors with establishing work schedule that stays within guidelines specified in subcontract document. Resolve technical problems concerning construction or interpret drawings/specifications when appropriate. Act as jobsite Safety Coordinator when one is not assigned to project. Update all construction schedules established and report progress to the Manager of Construction and Project Manager. Approve all progress invoicing by subcontractors for timely payment. Coordinate with and support engineering, purchasing, and constructability studies. Maintain good working relationship with different subcontractors and client representatives.
Qualifications: 10+ years of construction experience handling major projects. Project experience in delivering in an EPC environment. Construction or Engineering degree preferred. 7+ years of supervisory experience in petrochemical construction is preferred. Must be able to lead constructability, develop construction estimates, contracts, safety plans, execution plans, construction sequencing, scheduling and procedures.
