Description: Sr Principal Business Consultant UK Reading Sales and Marketing support to drive improved adoption of control product for Polymers and adjacent applications in Polymers and Olefins. 1. Development of sales leads/pipeline following sales and pipeline development/update processes via client visits. Prospect high in customer organization with the objective of coming to the mutual conclusion that the customer has a worthwhile opportunity in the area of our offering. Gain customer commitment for an evaluation; this means providing data, information and time from key people in the customer organization. 2. Update/manage sales pipeline via regular pipeline meeting. 3. Develop strong relationship and trust with customers to understand customer\'s plan/requirements; Drive Customer Evaluations in a systematic and consultative way getting customer buy-in on opportunities, value, required capabilities, and our solution. 4. Use strong technical knowledge, primary product line or vertical industry solution best available to satisfy customers needs. Drive and/or support Proposal process gaining customer agreement on Deliverables, Scope of Work, Schedule, Resources, Costs, etc. 5. Prepare/present the technical presentations for campaigns, and client visits. 6. Prepare/coordinate remote presentations for the client. 7. Able to do demos on relevant technologies and tools. 8. Respond to client questions and requests in timely fashion. 9. Support Sales Managers to close deals. 10. Keep updated with the relevant technology developments inside and outside. 11. Be a team player through team work, team learning and information sharing.
Qualifications: Qualifications: 1. Bachelor degree in Engineering is required, master/graduate degree preferred. 2. Understanding of one or more of the following businesses: Polymer plants, operations, Polymer modeling and advanced procress control. 3. Understanding of one or more of the following functions in the processing industry: Advanced control and optimization, Manufacturing execution system (MES). 4. Fluency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. 5. IT Knowledge of one or more of the following areas would be a plus: Database, System, Data integration. Able to lead teams from a cross functional perspective. 50% Travel.
