Senior Project Coordinator (Architect)
West Des Moines, Iowa
Team leader that demonstrates leadership skills in managing clients,
supervising architectural support staff, and coordinating the work of
consulting engineers on a day to day basis. Candidates should be capable of
managing multiple projects while supervising and providing guidance to
others on
their projects.
Qualifications: Education/Skills/Experience
Architect Preferred Education: 5 Year Degree or Professional degree in
Architecture
equivalent to a Bachelor of Architecture with minimum of 12 years of
experience.
Registered architect preferred. Candidates must exhibit strong communication
and presentation skills. Responsibilities include overall project
management,
programming, conceptual design, preparation of construction documents,
building code reviews, specification writing and construction
administration.
Business development skills, market development, client liaison, and office
management experience is a plus. Actively manages client budgets, schedules,
and programs; budget and schedule; project communications and documentation;
office administrative tasks; and project support staff assignments. Computer
skills
require proficiency in AutoCAD ADT, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
