The Director of PR & Marketing Energy has primary responsibility for:
Planning and executing all marketing, promotional, public relations and
communications programs in order to build awareness of company's
position in the marketplace , build a pipeline of leads and prospects,
and a loyal customer base that will contribute to a sustainable future
and clean energy economy. Conferring with and advising the CEO
and Division Executives on marketing and public relations.
Creating and developing a marketing and communications strategy to position
and brand the company as the most respected solar energy solutions company
in the Region.Executive Director of PR & Marketing (Energy) Represents  the
CEO & company to the media and public at large.
Executive Director of PR & Marketing (Energy) Reports to: CEO-President of
the Company







Qualifications: Minumum Requirements:

10 Years background in marketing planning and current
marketing strategies. Ability to be creative and innovative in
developing marketing strategies and concepts. Ability to evaluate
marketing trends and analyses. Analytical skills to interpret data and
prepare conclusions and recommendations based on information collected.
Knowledge of print and broadcast media including its needs, formats and
styles. Experience in direct-mail marketing and subscription campaigns.
Excellent writing and editing skills. Experience working with a culturally
diverse workforce and constituencies. Ability to initiate and maintain
cooperative relationships with co-workers, managers and supervisors,
customers/clients, and members of the public. Experience in hiring,
training and supervising staff. Knowledge of financial management
to allocate resources, prepare marketing budgets, analyze financial
data and ROI. Ability to work effectively under constant pressure
deadlines; requires excellent organizational skills, time management
efficiency, and careful attention to detail.

Experience with computer systems and word processing,
spreadsheet and graphics software, as well as the internet and
web sites. Experience in manipulating and analyzing customer
service/sales databases. Experience in graphic design and page
layout computer programs, and working with designers and
contemporary printing firms to see jobs taken from conception
to final product.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to
articulate ideas clearly and concisely, in both written and
oral formats.
Ability to speak with ease and confidence in front of large groups.
Knowledge of customer relations and quality service techniques.
Ability to develop "grassroots" contacts among a broad range of
constituencies.
Demonstrated success in managing complex programs
and strategic plans; strong organizational and time
management skills.

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of senior management
experience in marketing and public relations. A sophisticated
understanding of the tools of marketing and public relations,
excellent communications and planning skills, and the ability to
work as part of a team and to motivate others.

Knowledge of contact management systems, databases, research and other
customer relations software systems is needed, as are skills on the
internet, spreadsheets and word processing systems. Familiarity with solar
energy will be an asset. Work experience in the renewable energy industry is
highly desirable.
