Commissioning Manager Startup and Testing
Manage the aspects of the commissioning, startup and
testing programs at customer site from component test turnover through
pre-operational testing, fuel load, startup and performance testing.
1. Ensure that personnel are recruited and trained for the startup team.
2. Interface with EPC consortium engineering organization related
to test requirements and acceptance criteria.
3. Manage the final preparation of pre-operational and startup test
procedures in accordance with customer QA program.
4. Confirm that all test results meet the standard test program
requirements or conduct retests as necessary.
5. Represent the consortium as startup manager on the Joint Test Working
Group.
6. Communicate with customer startup personnel throughout the test program,
including training and integration of customer personnel into the startup
team.
7. Define, implement, and drive the initial test program to successful
completion.
Qualifications:
. Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years experience
. Logic/problem-solving capabilities to apply advanced engineering
principles and techniques to propose, direct, and integrate solutions to
highly complex (possibly system level), loosely defined technical problems.
. Identify direct approaches for the successful resolution of significant
technical issues.
. Coordinate complex technical projects across multi-functional groups,
within schedule and budget.
. Lead integration and development of major technical descriptions for
customer proposals.
. Direct, train, and develop personnel on significant technical projects,
tasks, and activities.
. Develop and deliver presentations to communicate status problem resolution
and recommendations.
. Provide knowledge to peers, vendors, and customers.
