Global Project Manager - Technical Process
Phoenix, AZ
Basic Description
The position works within the international engineering operations project
team and will be responsibilities for:
-Build a partnership with engineering (COE) center of excellence leaders,
global sites,
and technology team members to drive efficient processes to enable smooth
cross-site
work flow
-Identify critical problems in ambiguous situations, determine action plans
and form project teams to address those problems, and execute the plans to
close the problem in a rapid manner acceptable to the client groups
-A team member of the client facing group within the international
engineering
operations project team
-Ensure that program management methodology, Tools and Process are
continually improving and consistently followed on all global process
projects
-Contributes to a cross-site team culture that supports ongoing knowledge
sharing, transfer of knowledge, continuous evaluation, and distributed
leadership
-Helps to plan and program manage deployment of major aerospace engineering
initiatives and metrics tools to company's aerospace global sites
-Identify barriers preventing effective use of global engineers, and then
help develop and deploy improved actions and processes
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
-BS Degree , Business or Technical Field
-12 or more years of technical, project management or globalization
experience
-Six Sigma Certified Green Belt Required
-7 or more years of cross-functional project management experience within
business or engineering environments
-Experienced in proven leadership with a passion for process excellence
-Collaborator, Excellent Soft Skills
-10% travel required
Additional Qualifications:
-MBA preferred
-Some aerospace industry experience is preferred
-Black Belt or Lean Expert preferred
-Knowledge of globalization strategies and related implementation issues
preferred
