Description: Sr Control Engineer Arkansas Assist in the development of detailed system specifications for major systems installation Programming and/or configuration, analysis, design, software requirements, testing, debugging, and implementation. Perform all programming and/or configuration assignments as well as coach and mentor other team members; Analyze and resolve software errors in a timely and accurate fashion; Provide status reports where required; Develop and review design specifications for software applications; Develop and maintain software to support the business processes; Create and maintain documentation for code and/or configuration throughout the system lifecycle; Train end users on established programs; Provide on-call support and problem resolution for software applications; Work with end-user groups closely to assist with aligning IS technology with the department's business goals; Conduct feasibility studies to definethe purpose, functions, and overall structure of business processes; Perform analysis and document business processes leading to process change and/or system implementation; Assist in developing system/application architecture; Aid in developing scope and requirements for IS projects for a business unit; Aid in development and execution of project plans; Conduct acceptance testing to ensure that the functional and business requirements are met by the provided solution.
Qualifications: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or other technical area Experience with HMI development using inTouch Wonderware, iFix Intellution and the ability to program PLC's. Specifically Modicon PLC's using Function Block Programming and or Allen-Bradley RS 5000 PLC programming software.
