The Business Analyst will be an integral part of teams delivering
Business Solutions offerings including:
Strategic Consulting (business strategy, business process optimization,
asset management, IT strategy and knowledge management related offerings)
and will be a specialist in business strategy and implementation
Program Management (Establishment, execution and delivery of major capital
programs)
Conducting client business assessments such as issue analysis, business
process analysis, and SWOT analysis
Participating in offering development, including preparation of
presentations and deliverables related to Strategic Consulting market
offerings (e.g., Municipal Energy Management, Carbon Management,
Sustainability, Strategic Planning, Climate Change Adaptation, and others)
Being part of client delivery teams and tailoring management consulting
offerings to meet clients' specific needs and solve urgent business
transformation related consulting issues
Participating in external and internal business development and marketing
and sales efforts. Identification and creation of new business opportunities
Qualifications: Combined consulting, utilities and municipal related industry experience
5+ years experience in delivering full lifecycle business solutions (e.g.,
solution engagements that include elements of strategy development, business
process optimization, asset management and IT strategy) to large enterprises
Provides a strong client service delivery background and a proven ability
to build enduring client relationships at the highest level
Must have an ability to work as a consultant at a strategic level in
client organizations, to successfully interface with senior executives and
lead strategic planning, business process, and workshops with senior staff
Must have an in-depth understanding of project management tools and
methodologies and their application to large business consulting programs
A proven track record of successful delivering complex consulting
engagements either in a consulting role or from within the
utilities/municipal/infrastructure industry
