Description: Lead Economist
Colorado
Develop a sustainable line of work in the area of socioeconomics,
with a focus on clients within, but not limited to, mining and energy
related industries. Conduct cost-benefit analysis of the impacts of projects, programs
and policies; economic valuation of benefits and damages;
Conduct social and economic impact assessment and development of
impact mitigation strategies; regulatory and compliance costs assessments; and
manage a small staff of economists.
Qualifications: Degree, MA in Economics; Ph.D. preferred
12+ years of experience as a socio-economist
Must have existing client base or demonstrated ability to develop client base
Experience conducting social assessments under World Bank,
International Finance Corporation, or similar organizations is preferred
Experience using multiple economic impact tools, models and software is preferred
