Description: EHS Manager provide leadership for EHS Department and implement an effective development program for department personnel. Provide leadership meeting or exceeding site EH goals and site. EHS Manager will implement, manage and sustain MSM/AIMS program at the facility. Provide overall leadership and direction to element champions. Serve as Loss Control Coordinator. EHS Manager will manage and sustain site loss control and risk reduction programs at the facility. Provide overall leadership and direction to loss control inspectors and risk assessments. EHS Manager conducts/Coordinates loss control and/or risk management training.
EHS Manager will implement, manage and/or sustain Industrial Hygiene program at the facility. Provide overall leadership and direction to personnel.
Conduct/Coordinate routine and/or non-routine air monitoring and sound mapping; Manage and sustain ISO9001 program at the facility. Provide overall
leadership and direction to site personnel.
EHS Manager serves as Management Representative. - Develop, implement and/or maintain comprehensive management systems in support of Corporate and plant HES policies, procedures and programs. Serve as a site technical resource for HES programs. - Serve as Primary and/or Lead
Negotiator for Environmental Regulatory Permit implementation and/or amendments. - Manage and improve site contractor safety management program.
Revise or amend system as needed to be compliant with federal, state and local guidelines. - Coordinate, monitor, audit and evaluate the plant HES
management system effectiveness; recommend and assign appropriate corrective actions. - Conduct/coordinate incident investigations.
Serve as primary contact for Third Party Inspections and Audits pertaining to OSHA / EPA/ ISO/ AIMs or other HES-related programs.
Qualifications: Qualifications:
B.S. Chemical Engineering.
10+ years in Environmental, Safety and Health in Chem/Petrochem.
6+ years experience in production and/or engineering preferred.
Experience in Industrial Hygiene Professional Certification (i.e. CSP, CHMM,
CIH, or CPEA)
