Compliance Project Manager-Environmental
New Britain, CT
Position is a compliance project/client manager in company's
Connecticut Office. He/She will be leading environmental compliance
efforts for the company. He/She will focus on consulting, marketing,
and business development in an effort to expand the company's industrial
and healthcare environmental compliance practice. He/She reports
to the Industrial Technical Practice Leader and works closely with the
Office Manager in the CT facility. The position will involve a significant
amount of client management, scoping of projects and proposal preparation.
Qualifications: Minimum Position Requirements:
The Candidate should have a BS degree (MS preferred) with 15 years of
directly related environmental regulatory compliance experience. The ideal
candidate will be a regular attendee at business meetings/ involvement with
industrial and healthcare associations (e.g. electroplating, paper making,
hospitals and other healthcare institutions) and already have PE
certification
or at a minimum, REM or CHMM, so that SPCC, Air Permit applications
A proven track record of being able to work both independently on small
specific assignments, and as part of a large team on multidisciplinary
projects. Candidates should also have exceptional written and verbal
communication skills, to include strong proficiency using spreadsheets and
word processing for data analysis and report generation.
