Sr Fisheries Project Biologist

The Sr Fisheries Project Biologist has years experience leading project

teams, managing projects, mentoring and training staff, sustaining excellent client
relationships and further developing the business.

The Sr Fisheries Project Biologist will support the expansion of
the Company's environmental consulting services. Knowledge and experience
with environmental impact assessments, environmental effects monitoring,
fish habitat assessments, compensation plans, stream crossings, project
approvals and Provincial and Federal permitting processes is required. The
work will involve a strong commitment to business development and client
relations and expanding technical excellence.

Minimum Requirements

 

Bachelor's degree in Biology & Registered R.P.Bio.

 

Minimum 12 years experience in  environmental work is

required in at least 4 of the following sectors:

 

-mining, oilsands, oil and gas, hydroelectric, transportation, land development,

municipal infrastructure

Sound working knowledge of Provincial and Federal Environmental Legislation

Proven project management skills and the ability to work with a
multi-disciplinary team of professionals

Excellent communication skills in English (other languages e.g. Spanish are an asset)
Demonstrated report writing skills
Excellent contract administration and project management skills
Availability to travel within Canada and Internationally & to work flexible hours
