Sr Accounting Manager

Chicago, IL

Report to the Division Controller. Works closely with
other members of the Finance Team, other Division departments/functions, and
Corporate Finance. Has broad discretion as to details of job
responsibilities and assignments of a varied and diverse nature.
Work as a member of the Finance team to facilitate:
Keeping of records, Processing of transactions, Preparation of reports,
Supporting the Division operations and, Maintenance of internal controls.
Supervise and maintain proper staffing of Credit & Collections department.
Achieve the Division goals.
Monitor balances of customer accounts.
Interact with customers, field sales, and Division Sales.
Maintain Division Name & Address file and customer credit status
Work with Corporate Credit on collection strategy for shared delinquent accounts
Preparation of journal vouchers
Maintenance of fixed asset records and related systems
Plant Accounting support
Preparation of plant statements and reports
Monthly account reconciliations
Finance Security administration
Corporate Accounting and Tax reporting requirements
Division Lean and Lean Accounting initiatives
