Cost Accounting Manager (Finance)

Support manufacturing and procurement organizations utilizing business, finance
and accounting expertise directly and indirectly through the management of the

Senior Cost Accountant/Analyst staff. You will report to Division Controller.

 

Perform monthly budget variance analysis, review with management.
Interpret monthly results, identify cost trends and make recommendations to management
Assist with capital project development and tracking.

Manage the cost function and support the procurement function.
Perform business analysis; perform cost analysis.

Assist with the development and maintenance of manufacturing plant budget and forecasts.
Assist with the continuous development of the cost management system
Review cost updates to bills of materials.
Assist with Sarbanes Oxley compliance

Bachelor degree (Accounting or Finance) and MBA.

CPA in state of texas required.  

12+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing.

Lean principles environment

Strong database query experience

Financial accounting systems experience.
