Description: Accounting Supervisor supports the preparation of monthly forecasts and annual budget. Accounting Supervisor will handle costing and inventory activities for manufacturing. Accounting Supervisor responsible for preperation of weekly and monthly plant performance metrics including labor
and overhead variance analysis etc. Provide accountant analyses of manufacturing operations for production and finance management. Work with manufacturing operations to identify cost reduction opportunities.
Month end close support to senior cost accountant in the areas of material COS, labor entries and accruals and overhead analysis and inventory
reconciliations. Accountant support for inventory accuracy. Inventory control in the WIP areas and provide senior accountant support for physical
inventory and perpetual transactions. Accounting Supervisor actively seeks continuous improvement of processes and systems.
Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Accounting. CPA in-state.
9+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong experience of Excel and Access.
Lean manufacturing experienced.
