Basic Job Description:
The Marketing Director manages the overall marketing strategies,
presentations and research in order to secure new advertising accounts,
maintain existing business, and expand into new categories.
This position is responsible for preparing and executing a marketing plan in
conjunction with the Publisher and Sales Management; creating category and
account specific presentations; analyzing/interpreting trend and syndicated
research data; conducting major market and customized research studies;
developing sales materials for the sales staff; and strategizing with the
sales staff to garner incremental and new business.
Qualifications: Minimum Requirements, Skills, Education & Experience :
Position requires 10+ or more years relative experience
Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities are critical;
strong presentation and managerial skills are essential, as well as
Powerpoint and Excel program proficiency.
Bachelors Degree, relevant is required
Travel :15-20%
