Description: The Accounting Manager / Accountant is responsible for managing an organizations accounting and financial analysis functions in assigned areas. These functions may include establishing and maintaining compliance with the organization's accounting principles, practices, procedures and initiatives, preparing and managing financial reports for both the SBU and Corporate constituencies and presenting findings and recommendations to SBU management and developing and directing budgetary analyses, financial analyses, risk management or other specialized accounting roles.
Requires expertise in a variety of the accountant fields concepts, practices and procedures. Accounting Manager / Accountant manages the planning and direction of accounting activities, including the maintenance of the ledger accounts and financial statements. The accountant oversees the efficient operation and cost-effectiveness of operating systems and programs and provides accounting guidance and leadership to accountant staff.
Qualifications: Degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA
10+ years experience in a manufacturing environment. CPA
Strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge. Strong understanding of an ERP/business system (SAP) with implementation experience.
