Description: Unit Business Manager
Phoenix , AZ
The Business Manager oversees assigned programs to ensure compliance with contract requirements,
schedules and budgets. The Business Manager is the focal point for communications with customers.
Provide a coordinated company response to customer requirements and inquiries.
Communicate with Operations Management to assure proper coordination of customer requirements.
Focal point for customer communication and interface.
Represents the company in contracts with the customer and others. Provide timely notification to management
of program cost or schedule impact. Coordinate with Operations Management and Financial Control to
integrate time phased budgets and program schedules that support contractual commitments and company goals.
Review program budgets to provide ongoing visibility for project cost, margins and performance.
Create and manage business unit bookings and sales forecasts.
Analyze and review all contracts to verify Terms and Conditions, Work Statements, Funding, Performance and Deliverables.
Lead development, preparation and customer submittal of proposals for new and follow-on business.
Manage and track program compliance to purchase order requirements.
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in business. MBA preferred.
12+ years experience in business program management in industrial manufacturing.
Demonstrable knowledge of composite manufacturing required.
Certification in Contracts Administration required.
Six sigma green belt certified or higher with thorough understanding of lean and
six sigma principles and methodologies.
