Description: Business Manager
Dallas, TX
Develop and maintain an effective manufacturing organization through selection, training/development
and motivation. Direct the preparation of specifications as to quality, quantity, delivery and service required
for purchase of plant equipment, supplies, and materials to meet production schedules. Involve suppliers in
the design of these services optimizing the needs of the facility.
Provide leadership and direction to workforce in a manufacturing environment; establishes production priorities
and schedules consistent with unit goals. Plan and control manufacturing operations at lowest cost consistent
with established specifications as to quality and quantity. Assure the effective implementation of programs to increase
overall manufacturing efficiencies in obtaining the highest quality product at the lowest cost possible. Maintain
aggressive profit improvement programs and obtain all necessary assistance to assure effective implementation.
Qualifications: MS or MBA degree.
10+ years of operations and manufacturing experience.
Demonstrated success implementing change in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated experience in making sound business judgments related to product manufacturing.
Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma Green Belt certified or higher.
Kaizen and 5-S experience is required.
Strong computer skills: expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
