Control Systems Manager-SLC/Siemens
Westover, W.VA
Basic Description
Position will be assigned to work in the research facility operations
and development department for projects related to new technology
for energy resources Position will become a part of a professional
team, that will be helping the client to create energy that is more
efficient and is cleaner for the environment The position is a senior
control systems engineer that is responsible to manage design diagrams
such as digital logic, functional block, control loop and piping &
instrument
diagrams . The position requires programming of distributed control systems
and logic controllers.The successful position will develop graphics for
operator displays, instrument installation details, indexes and data sheets
as well as equipment specifications. In addition, position will provide
database programming and set point calculations to support the research
and development activities. Position will also participate in the site's
QA/QC
program where the project designs are reviewed, inspections are performed,
and corrective steps are identified. The position requires the collaboration
with client representatives, university researchers as well as a wide
variety
of scientific and engineering disciplines focused on energy research.
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
-7 years of control systems engineering experience and some project
management experience
-Prior experience with Allen Bradley Control Logix and SLC controllers,
Siemens APACS and QuadLog Safety PLCs
-Ability to design and implement safety instrumented systems per
ANSI/ISA-84.00.01
-BS in Control Systems; Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering; or
Engineering Technology
-PE in West Virginia preferred
-Proof of US citizenship
