Description:
General Responsibilities:
. As a planner responsible to develop strategic plans for completions products and services acquisition
(purchasing and contracting) and facilitate optimal inventory management
. As a planner, be responsible to work towards strategic goals for optimal contracting /
procurement of completions products and services.
. Develop and maintain plans and metrics (KPI's) for category and measure
progress against overall Business and Supply plan.
. Engage functional leadership and Production Unit (PU's) staff in support
of recommended strategies
. Collect and share credible global and regional market intelligence with
stakeholders, functions and colleagues
. Develop supplier selection, negotiation and sourcing plans, facilitate and
execute negotiations with completion products and services suppliers
. Develop strong, performance-driven relationships with suppliers that
demonstrate value, efficiency and reliability
. Assure compliance with corporate, consumer sector groups (petroleum)
and S&L policies, procedures and statutory requirements.
. Manage risk effectively and drive contracting excellence
. Facilitate and occasionally take the lead in contract formulation,
development and management to increase operational efficiencies.
. Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders,
customers, functional teams and other company sites.
. Improve service levels in line with agreed business plan and targets
. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure safe and
reliable products services, competitive commercial terms, quality, optimal
leverage across all projects and businesses.
. Align contractual, commercial and risk guidelines and approval policies to
ensure effective governance
. Benchmarking Internal/ external activities to achieve performance
improvement (contract structure, incentive schemes, contractor management
etc.)
. Develop and implement KPIs in contracts and supplier relationships to
monitor and drive superior performance
. Executes, or oversees the sourcing/ tendering process for completion
products and services supply including scope of work and coordination with
customer groups
. Oversees the contract development, execution, management and
administration process to insure that it is being performed in accordance
with contract procedures, requirements and meets agreed key performance
metrics
. Facilitate issue escalation and resolution regarding completions products
and services supply
. Analyse Functional business plans, reports and project schedules to
proactively identify and address potential issues, barriers and
manage/mitigate risk
. Develop and evaluates solutions and establishes recovery and mitigation
plans with Supply colleagues and leadership
. Routinely identify opportunities for improvements that will result in
value for D&C or Supply operations.
. Maintain awareness of Drilling and completion forecasts, plans and
operational activities
. Work closely with Contract Sponsors/Business Users and other functions to
ensure procurement and contracting processes are implemented in timely
fashion to meet business and compliance requirements
. Collaborates with Global Drilling Supply Manager and other Energy CSG
Supply Managers
. Collaborates with Drilling Contracts and Procurement Leads & Teams
. Collaborates with Global Drilling Manager & Drilling and Completions
technical staff
. Collaborates with function heads & team leads (HSE, Legal, Finance, etc)
. Collaborates with QA/QC personnel
. Collaborates with S&L Process Improvement Manager
Qualifications: Minimum Skills, Experience, & Education Requirements:
. University Degree or equivalent, relevant
. Advanced SCM/Procurement or Contracting Membership i.e ISM/CIPS/IACCM is
preferred
. 12+ Years Experience in the resources industry with exposure to upstream
oil & gas operations specifically drilling and completion activities and
supplier/contract management
. Previous Completion products and services technical experience is a
requirement
. A comprehensive understanding of upstream E&P business, required
. Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills with advanced risk
management skills
. Demonstrated familiarity with logistical and service quality impacts in
this PSL
. Fluent English
