Description: Drilling & Completion Fluids Specialist Location: SE Asia Salary/Rate: Negotiable Provide expertise, advice and mentorship on all aspects of drilling fluids, completion and workover fluids and cementing in order to achieve successful, cost effective and safe implementation of exploratory, development, workover activities. Set departmental guidelines and procedures pertaining to the drilling fluids, completion/workover fluid and cementing philosophy. Optimize drilling and completion performance through implementation of best practices, and deployment of new technologies. Consult on specific drilling fluids and drilling fluids system issues Provide operational fluid and fluid system QA/QC support. Assist with contract technical specifications and tendering issues. Develop best practices for drilling and completion fluids. Stay current with rules and regulations related.
Qualifications: Degree, engineering 15+ years of drilling, completions and workover experience. specialised knowledge and detailed experience Strong understanding of field drilling and completion fluid systems, including disposal. Ability to rationalize cost and risk issues.
