Description: Principal Completions Engineer Location: Texas Salary/Rate: Negotiable Guide the design and execution of completions for wells drilled (both vertical and horizontal) Well planning, casing design, material and equipment selection, evaluation, stimulation design, quality assurance and post job evaluation. Responsible for application of completions technology opportunities; identifying and implementing improved completions technology, evolving new technologies and cost control. At as a knowledge resource . Identify opportunities for better application of completions technology. Identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficient completion practices and modified completion designs. Provide guidance on stimulation techniques and utilization of recently developed completion technology. Evaluation of stimulation effectiveness in reservoirs Work in conjunction with EHS and field operations personnel to optimize wellsite safety performance. Prepare cost analyses, estimates for the completion of wells. Guide the preparation and monitor capital budgets relating to completions and well design. 12+ years experience Expertise in completions design and implementation required. Expertise evaluating completion efficiency and reservoir performance
