Description: Construction Manager Location: Arabian Gulf Salary/Rate: Negotiable Responsible for the site construction and commissioning phases of oilfields development project. Management of a site execution team responsible for the supervision of EPC contractor to ensure that the project is completed safely, of high quality, to schedule and budget. Supervise Construction resources required to construct / install, commission and handover project on schedule, to quality specifications and budget. Responsible for the quality of the installation and construction works. Monitor and report on the delivery of the project against the approved execution schedule. Through the site team ensure that the EPC contractor constructs in accordance with the agreed scope of work and in accordance with the approved standards. Ensure EPC contractors project Quality Plan is adhered to. Prepare daily, weekly & monthly progress reports deemed necessary. Ensure that the construction methodologies are in accordance with standards Provide Quality Controls to the EPC Contractor activities at the construction phase. Develop or expand and implement construction work execution strategies, philosophies and work methods.
Qualifications: Graduate or higher diploma holder in Engineering. Broad experience in Construction and Project management. Minimum 16+ years in engineering design and construction. Experience in EPC Contract management. Thorough understanding of the risks and the technical/commercial issues associated with the development of oil and gas projects.
