Description: Construction Manager (Oil & Gas Facilities) Canada Responsible for ensuring constructability, quality and safety during the execution of construction projects. Plan and organize the construction of the Project from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget; Assist in the preparation of construction budget estimates; Assist in the preparation of construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established schedules; Assist in the preparation of contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with suppliers and subcontractors; Develop and implement quality control programs; Prepare progress reports and issues progress schedules; Review detailed construction work packages for integration with engineering, procurement and construction; and Direct the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff.
Qualifications: Degree in civil engineering, construction. At least 12+ years of construction management experience, preferably in refineries, oil and gas plants and/or large construction projects. Must have previous experience working with and directing Contractors/EPC firms.
