Description: The Lead Civil Engineer has overall responsibility for the integrity of all structural and civil engineering including the development and review of all structural and civil engineering standards and specifications as well as working with staff and engineering contractor personnel to provide direction and design review in the civil and structural engineering discipline during all phases of the project from project design and execution, turnover, commissioning, start-up through to operation of facilities. Develop, review, modify and maintain all structural and civil engineering standards and specifications relating to the project; provide direction and design review for structural and civil engineering for all phases of the project; review and coordinate the inspection and maintenance of all structural and civil engineering systems in accordance with established safety programs. Monitor and review installation data packages from construction inspectors and ensure that all relevant construction data is stored in the company database; develop and maintain the structural and civil engineering database and other technical records as required to support reliability and integrity efforts
Qualifications: Around 15 years senior structural and civil engineering experience obtained in large integrated plant sites, Oil & Gas operating facilities or within an EPC firm. Engineering degree.Previous experience in risk based inspection programs will be an advantage.
