Description: Senior Production Chemist
Houston, Texas
a.. Provide production-chemistry expertise, input and assurance to
project portfolio, thus enabling projects at various stages of maturity to
fulfil the relevant production-chemistry requirements and deliverables
b.. Work with a wide range of disciplines within the project teams to
ensure early identification of key production-chemistry issues and work with
these teams to develop control strategies that are optimized for entire
project lifecycle
c.. Provide technical assurance in production chemistry for project
deliverables
d.. Assist in growing the production-chemistry team within the Projects
organization to create a sustainable centre of expertise for project
delivery.
Qualifications: 8+ years experience in the provision of production-chemical or
related fields to the Upstream E&P business
Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or related subject; M.S. and
Ph.D. degrees preferred
Demonstrated ability to work well as part of a multi-disciplinary
team, to negotiate for optimal solutions against conflicting drivers
Demonstrated influencing skills to help embed increased awareness of
production-chemical issues within the project teams
Experience with project development and delivery
Ability to assist in the development of new technology and
introduction of such into the field is preferred
