Sr Oil Sands Engineer (Process or Chemical)

The Sr Oil Sands Engineer is a leader in projects and will serve to
mentor and supervise junior engineers on Oil & Gas Sands Sites.
The Senior Oil Sands Engineer is involved in process simulation,
optimization, equipment sizing and specification, DBM, FEED and P&ID
development for oil and gas and petrochemical facilities. He or She has at
least 10 years experience in oil sands extraction, upgrading, refining or
petrochemical processes (is required)
or
He/She may be a Chemical Engineer with minimum 10 years of
experience in process design including conceptual studies,
front-end development and detail engineering. Position will have
excellent working knowledge in one or more of the following areas
of oil sands extraction, froth treatment, mining, pulp and paper,
upgrading, refining or petrochemical processes.
Qualifications: Basic Minimum Requirements
-10 years overall relative experience
-At least 8 yrs in a lead/ management/ supervisory role
-Prior experience in an EPC or EPCM environment is highly desirable.
-B.S in Chemical Engineering and eligibility for registration with
APEGGA are further requirements for this position.
-Candidate should have experience in process simulation and
optimization using HYSYS, HYSIM, HTFS, ASPEN PLUS
and PRO II software applications.
