Description: Senior Pipeline Engineer
Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur
Permanent or Contract position
The Senior Pipeline Engineer is responsible for all aspects of
pipeline engineering design during each project execution phase, whilst
adhering to project specifications and design standards.
As a member of the Project Team you will work closely and communicate
effectively with the other engineering disciplines, management and
client representatives to ensure the company's reputation for high quality
products and services is maintained.
Provide pipeline engineering support to the multi-disciplined project
team during each stage of project execution.
Prepare Basis of Design and guide parameters for cost estimates for
specialist pipeline elements
Document risk assessment and design assumptions for concept options
Liaise with the other disciplines, client's engineering and production
personnel to ensure consistent basis for all input parameters
Perform all work in accordance with agreed time and schedule
constraints
i.. Civil, Mechanical, Marine or Pipeline Engineering degree or Pipeline
related post graduate studies and Professional membership with the
Institution of Mechanical Engineers or equivalent
j.. Minimum 12 years proven experience in off-shore O&G engineering, with
at least 5 of those years in pipeline design, including across all project
phases (conceptual studies, FEED and detailed engineering design)
k.. Specific knowledge and understanding of design details and relevant
pipeline standards and specification
