Sr Hydro-Test Pipeline Engineer
UAE
Basic Reponsibility:
Planning, Execution, Control and Supervision of all activities such as:
-Test pack and Test equipment preparation
-Pneumatic test, Hydrotest, Drying, Leak testing with Nitrogen/Helium, etc
of pipeline
-Testing of different materials such as CS, S/S, Duplex, Super Duplex,
Cunifer and GRE
carrying hydrocarbon at high pressure range, in compliance with Project
specification
-International codes and Project HSE plan.
-Coordination with Pipeline Construction Managers, QA/QC and HSE team.
-Responsible in identifying prerequisites and planning and coordination for
organizing resources;
-Attending / generating punch points as a part of mechanical completion
activities.
- Preparation/ review of work procedures for the above activities,
controlling overall pressure testing and mechanical completion
pre-planning
activities.
-Preparing client reports for submission, etc.
-Planning and execution of preparatory activities.
-Preparation / review of Procedures for Flushing, Pneumatic testing, Hydro
testing, Drying and leak testing.
-Preparation of Job hazard analysis in consultation with HSE team and Client
construction managers.
-Coordination with QC/QA and HSE team for quality
inspections and HSE compliance.
-Preparation of flushing and pressure testing
completion programme and relevant reports for Client submission
Qualifications: Basic Minimum Requirements
-Graduate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent grade
-7 or more years related experience , experience in oil and gas pipelines
hydro-testing & pre-commissioning or ship building experience
-Travel 15%
