Position is responsible to manage and direct activities of EH&S
Advisors, support company's on-going commitment to regulatory,
environmental and safety compliance in the field
by working with corporate and operations management
and field offices to educate personnel, evaluate field conditions,
and to assist in the resolution of problems and issues in all
geographic areas of the company. This group will support our
drilling, completions, pipelines, and operations
activities in the field and at the corporate level.
Personnel will be assigned by geographic area as appropriate.
This group will provide education and support, as well as a level
of review of facilities, facility construction and operation with respect
to EH&S. This position will provide feedback to both corporate
EH&S group and to the Operations Groups and Executive management
Participate in the EH&S corporate policy group in order to provide a
realistic field-based view of new policies, procedures and programs. Work
with EH&S corporate group to manage due diligence for acquisitions.
Provide support and leadership during emergency response activities.
Prepare reports for distribution throughout senior management and to
individual District Managers that detail issues, problems, and progress
made in each of the districts
Qualifications: Minimum Requirements
-BS Degree Relevant
-Demonstrate basic computer knowledge through effective use
of a personal computer including Microsoft Office applications.
-Able to learn company specific applications.
-Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers,
clients, and other external contacts.
-12 years experience in oil and gas industry,
-Working knowledge of applicable EH&S statutes and regulations, i.e., RCRA,
TSCA, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, DOT, CERCLA, and OSHA
