Job Title: Lead Pipeline Engineer

Description: Act as company representative for Pipelines content of developments, as integral part of the Project Management Team. Offshore development projects including new platforms with associated pipelines and umbilicals. Project team will develop engineering concepts and establish FEED before progressing into execution phases. Provide technical expertise and support within the project team to ensure technical integrity of pipeline design and engineering. Provision of discipline management over contractors to ensure that engineering and execution costs are controlled within budget and those technical changes, if requiring cost variation, are fully documented and justified through the project\\'s change control process. Input to the technical content of contract tender packages and equipment requisitions followed by bid evaluation on receipt. Review and comment upon contractor\\'s engineering deliverables and contribution towards the preparation, checking and approval of in-house and contractor design drawings, specifications, philosophies, requisitions, technical evaluations and general documentation for pipeline engineering and design. Attendance and contribution towards coordination meetings with third parties including end users and vendors, supervision, support and guidance to less senior/experienced engineers and designers, inspection, checking and witness testing of pipeline equipment at manufacturers\\' premises and engineering support during the construction and commission phase activities.
Qualifications: 12+ years experience in the engineering, procurement, and execution of high value and complex development projects with at least five years in a responsible lead position while working in offshore Oil & Gas development projects. Extensive experience of the mechanical design of offshore pipeline projects and the project execution strategies associated with pipeline procurement and construction. Experience with using pipeline design software.
