Description: Pipeline Engineering Manager (Offshore) Texas, Houston Responsible for directing all aspects of engineering to support detailed design, procurement, fabrication, installation and hookup & commissioning of the gas project pipelines. Lead and direct all technical pipeline work during EPCI phase including: pipeline and routes surveys, pipeline hydraulic simulations and sizing, design and specifications, pipeline protection, riser tie-ins etc, Lead and participate in project reviews. Provide costs estimates and schedule input. Manage progress, cost, quality, communication. Manage intra-project interfaces as well as external interfaces with other ongoing gas project teams and operations teams. Support pipeline installation, testing and commissioning. Ensure an incident and injury free culture is reflected during the everyday work processes, system design, facility installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning.
Qualifications: Strong background with offshore pipeline facilities (e.g. pigging, corrosion prevention, NDE, QA/QC, transportation & installation planning, etc.). Project delivery processes; Engineering and Construction. Ability to work with diverse groups. Ability to provide coordination and oversight of Pipeline engineering, procurement, coating, installation, and commissioning: Ability to provide strong leadership and technical direction during EPCI phase by assuming the lead oversight role for the pipeline work scope. Includes oversight of pipeline surveys and routes, pipeline hydraulic simulations and sizing, design and specifications, pipeline protection, riser tie-ins and support, and support of pipeline installation, testing and commissioning. Ability to manage the work scope including progress, cost, quality, communication and interfaces. Scope of work includes new offshore facilities and tie-ins to modified existing offshore facilities. Requires strong pipeline background with offshore facilities (e.g. pigging, corrosion prevention, NDE, transportation & installation planning, etc.).
