Description: Pipeline Integrity Advisor / Expert Europe Provide expert advice on pipeline design criteria and requirements. Establish suitable design criteria where these do not exist, including the application of probabilistic design methods where needed. Develop company standards for pipeline design and integrity assurance. Pipeline Structural Integrity Engineer, expert on pipeline integrity design issues and able to identify, steer and conduct needs for R&D work. In-depth knowledge of numerical techniques for simulating pipeline behaviour, as well as the limitations of such techniques. Pipe soil interaction issues, including geotechnical loads such as fault movements, liquefaction and/or lateral spreading landslides, or turbidity currents. The integrity of welds under possible extreme loading and or environmental conditions, including fracture and fatigue assessment, considering the effect of relevant defects Hydrodynamic loads on subsea pipelines that may cause vortex-induced vibrations, or excessive lateral movements of the pipe on the seabed.
