Description: Design, modelling, and analysis of Pipeline engineering requirements. Responsible to ensure that the Discipline engineering tasks on the assigned projects are completed on schedule, within budget and in accordance with Quality standards. Perform engineering calculations for onshore and offshore pipelines, in accordance with International Codes and standards and specific project requirements. Plan and implement of project requirements to meet the schedule and budget. Technically and administratively manage the project team (engineers, designers and draftsmen); Schedule tasks to meet project deadlines, and supervise and review the work of Senior Designers / Designers. Carry out conceptual studies, including techno-economic feasibility studies for optimum design development. Perform engineering for procurement, including preparing material specifications, material and purchase requisitions, technical bid evaluation, review of vendor documents. . Perform engineering for construction / installation including preparing construction specifications, technical inputs to tender documents, technical bid evaluation, perform / review of engineering calculations and methodology pertaining to construction / installation. . Provide site engineering support, as well as otherinter-disciplinary support should the requirement arise . Co-ordinate with client engineers on Pipeline engineering issues; Co-ordinate with clients, subcontractors and/or suppliers, as applicable. Provide discipline inputs to proposals - prepare man-hour estimates and execution strategy papers. As Lead Discipline Engineer, when assigned on projects, responsible for managing the team of engineers, designers and draftsmen, and delivering the engineering requirements of the project. Minimum 12+ years experience, including onshore/offshore pipeline related work.
