Description: Sr Offshore Pipeline Engineer Location: SE Asia Salary: Negotiable. Responsible for all aspects of the project scope of work relating to design, procurement, construction and commissioning of pipelines. Manage the performance of design consultant, contractors and vendors to deliver fit-for-purpose facilities within project schedule and budget. Thorough check of scope of work, design, and specifications to ensure technical integrity, quality and cost effectiveness. Detailed design, procurement of materials including the specification of materials, fabrication techniques, coating and welding specifications and the control of quality by inspection. Installation including pipelines installation method, riser, subsea tie-in and umbilical connection. Commissioning and start-up including the selection and application of suitable hydrotesting, cleaning, drying and pre-commissioning techniques.
Qualifications: Degree in Engineering (relevant) with 12+ years Oil & Gas experience in pipeline engineering with a sound track record in pipeline design and installation. Experience should include offshore construction, linepipe handling, welding and NDT procedures, management of contracts and contractors. CRA pipeline design and construction is advantageous.
