Operational Excellence
Principal Operational Excellence Manager provides leadership and expert
knowledge in process design and improvements that enable superior
execution and operational excellence. Principal Operational Excellence
Manager
acts as an internal consulting group for the Corporate (CIT) group to
provide process
design and improvement expertise to the Business Processes Owner.
Principal Operational Excellence Manager will provide expert knowledge of
problem solving methodologies to enable the routine delivery of exceptional
performance through a systematic approach to continuous process improvements
so that our success is by design and our improvements are based on facts
and data.
This individual will provide leadership and expertise through
project/program management of process improvement initiatives, will work
closely with Business Process Owners to secure resource for initiative
and manage process lifecycles and will work closely with others in
Operational Excellence to help manage the overall Process Management
System,This individual will also serve as a coach or advisors to others
involved in process work.
This individual will be looked to by the organization to provide the latest
techniques and approach and lead the organization to it's next level of
evolution.
This individual will be looked to by the organization as a seasoned expert
in organizational change management and utilize these skills to assist in
making the process stick This individual will be looked to by the
organization
to be a voice for process management and process improvement as a
key means to meeting IT goals an in turn Company's vision in serving our
patients

Qualifications: Experience/Education/Skills
Process Improvement Experience-
*Certified/Expertise in proven methodologies such as: Rummler Brache, LEAN,
DMAIC, Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
*Extensive experience leading and conducting process design and improvement
projects end-to-end with cross-functional teams
*Business, Science or Engineering BS or BA required, MS, MBA or 15-17 years
of IT/Operations experience preferred
*Minimum 9 years of related analytical, business and operational experience
in IT/Operations
*Biotech / pharmaceutical industry IT experience preferred.
Project Management Experience
*Minimum of 12 years of project management experience required
